How do I become a pharmacist in Missouri?

The pharmacy technicians should be registered with the Missouri Board of Pharmacy:

  • Firstly, you should be 18
  • Secondly, pass a criminal background check

A high school diploma or any other certifications are not required.

But, if you want to have a better job and receive a good salary, you will need to pass the Pharmacy Technician Certification exam. To pass the exam you should have a high school diploma.

The payment for the exam is $129.

After that, you should register with the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board.

It may take 1 to 2 weeks for the Board to issue your license.

And you should renew it every two years. If you pass the exam and register with the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board you will need to complete hours of Continuing Education. Before the license expiration day, you will receive an email with the renewal requirements and steps.

How do I verify a Missouri medical license?

To verify a medical license in the state of Missouri you should visit the Missouri Division of Professional Registration website and click on license lookup.

After that choose Active Licensee Search. And type the name or if you know the license number.

You will find the necessary information you were looking for.

How long does it take to get a medical license in Missouri?

For your full Missouri medical license, you will have to wait about 3 months.

But if there are some missing documents the Board will ask you to complete the application form correctly and submit all the required documents.
